My Story
What brought me to this work
My clinical experience in counseling began at the IWU Graduate Counseling Center in Marion, Indiana, where I worked with clients navigating borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and eating disorders.
Before that, I worked as a psychiatric technician specializing in eating disorders — providing direct care across inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization levels of care. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of how all-consuming and complex eating disorders can be, and it continues to shape how I approach this work today.
I currently practice at Ellie Mental Health – Castleton in Indianapolis, where I see clients both in person and via telehealth. I'm passionate about working with people who feel like they've been struggling quietly for too long — and I'd love to be part of changing that.

How I Work
Therapeutic Approaches
I draw from several evidence-based modalities and adapt my approach to each person's unique needs, goals, and history.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A structured, evidence-based approach that helps identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that keep you stuck.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
A specialized, trauma-focused therapy for PTSD that helps you examine and gently challenge the stuck points — beliefs about yourself, others, and the world — that formed after trauma.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
A skills-based approach that builds concrete tools for distress tolerance, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and effective communication.
Trauma-Informed Care
All of my work is grounded in a trauma-informed lens — recognizing how trauma shapes thought, behavior, and the body, and keeping emotional safety at the center of every session.
